The project pictured required the removal of existing joint material and reconstructing the joint with backer rod, a material used to control the depth of the sealant and provide 3 sided adhesion, and one of Sika’s polyurethane self-leveling sealants, a flexible and high-durable solution designed for horizontal expansion joints in concrete and cementitious slabs.
