Paramount Holds 2025 AGM and Declares Interim Dividend

Paramount Trading (Jamaica) Limited marked an important corporate milestone in November 2025 with the staging of its 13th Annual General Meeting and the subsequent declaration of an interim dividend to shareholders.

The Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Paramount’s 39 Waltham Park Road location in Kingston, bringing shareholders together to consider key matters relating to the company’s financial performance, governance and leadership.

Shareholders Convene for 13th Annual General Meeting

Business scheduled for the AGM included the company’s audited financial statements for the year ended May 31, 2025, the election and re-election of directors, directors’ remuneration and matters relating to the company’s auditors.

Dr. Catherine Goodall Jackson, Dwight Balli and Kathryn Lewis-Green were among the directors presented for re-election, while shareholders were also asked to consider the election and appointment of Delroy McLean to the Board.

McLean’s appointment was subsequently confirmed as effective November 15, 2025, following the successful passage of the resolution for his election and appointment.

The AGM followed a financial year in which Paramount returned to profitability and continued implementing initiatives focused on operational efficiency, manufacturing growth and new strategic partnerships.

Board Declares Interim Dividend

At its Board of Directors meeting held on the same day, November 15, Paramount approved and declared an interim dividend of $0.026 per ordinary stock unit.

The record date for the dividend was December 1, 2025, with payment scheduled for December 30, 2025.

The declaration represented a return of value to shareholders following the company’s improved financial performance and operational turnaround during FY2025.

Paramount continues to balance shareholder returns with investment in manufacturing capacity, operational improvements and opportunities for sustainable long-term growth.
