Don Gittens Joins Paramount Trading Board

Paramount Trading (Jamaica) Limited announced the appointment of Don Gittens to its Board of Directors and as a member of the Compensation Committee, effective September 23, 2025.

The appointment adds extensive experience in management, business development and strategic leadership to Paramount’s Board as the company continues pursuing its growth and manufacturing objectives.

Experienced Business Leader Joins the Board

Gittens is Chief Executive Officer of the Manpower & Maintenance Services Limited Group, which includes businesses and organisations spanning facilities management, business services, sales and distribution, workforce education and community development.

He brings more than 20 years of experience across business development, strategic planning, international investment and trade negotiations, policy development, strategic marketing, client relationship management, technology sales and project management.

His professional background also includes several management roles at the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), where his responsibilities included logistics, energy, infrastructure and emerging sectors.

Supporting Paramount’s Growth Strategy

The appointment further strengthens Paramount Trading Jamaica’s corporate governance and strategic leadership as the company expands its manufacturing operations and develops new commercial partnerships.

Gittens’ experience in business development, investment and strategic planning complements Paramount’s continued focus on operational improvement, local manufacturing and sustainable long-term growth.
